My name is Alan, and I am making this enquiry following a recommendation from my school guidance counselor after a great chat I’ve had with them recently. I’m saving up for university and am exploring opportunities to do a — (paid work experience/ unpaid work experience) — placement. I love animals, I’ve got two pets at home, a dog named Meech, and a cat named Mirk. I’ve worked hard over these last few years to save up enough so I can follow my dream to go to university so I can train to become a veterinarian. Before I commit fully to it though, I’ve decided it would be a great idea if I can gain experience with a reputable practice first and that way I’ll know for sure if it’s right for me. I was really impressed with what I learned after researching your company, because not only do you have an established reputation for first-rate care and professionalism within the local community, but your first priority has always been to provide the best care possible, and you’ve made it your mission to give all pet owners a long life with their pets on this planet. This has been exemplified by the fact that you have won the cat friendly award 2 years in a row, and even have a 5-star rating on Trustpilot!
As an interim employee, not only will I be able to provide you with the convenience of an inexpensive pair of hands over the summer, but I would venture that this might also give your practice the opportunity to raise its standing within the community you serve even further by being known as a business that offers work experience to young, ambitious people like me. You will find I am extremely diligent and useful to have around the practice. I am hard working and excel at science, specifically biology, and am very organized and trustworthy.
