Dear Mr. Sparrow,
I am writing to you to express my avid interest in any executive sales roles that may currently be available within your organisation. I sincerely enjoyed the talk we had at the recent sales convention, I think we both have a passion for what we do, and I felt we both shared a similar outlook on how to drive organisational growth. I’m at a point in my career now where I’m looking for a new challenge, and after our conversation its convinced me that I could have a lot to offer your organization.
When it comes to sales targets, I demand exceptionalism, and our departments have always been able to achieve this through hard work and close collaboration. This is one of the reasons that the accomplishments over the course of my career have been so long and so numerous. Some examples of this are given below:
• As a sales executive, I understand that cultivating new business opportunities is key, that’s why in my current role I’ve already managed to exceed revenue targets by an average of 11% over the last 3 last fiscal annums – and am proud to have been responsible for helping increase our company’s market share by 7% overall during my tenure too.
• Using my strong negotiation and brinkmanship skills, I have been involved in numerous successful contract negotiations over the course of my career. These have strengthened our company’s position within the market and helped us increase our net revenue profits. Most recently, this involved a successful contract negotiation with one of our biggest suppliers, ABC company, in a multi-million-pound deal.
• I’ve also helped implement numerous sales and training programs throughout my career too. These have helped our staff stay up to date with the skills so they can be at their most effective in their roles, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction ratings.
• I’ve also played a key role in developing countless sales strategies and marketing campaigns over the course of my career too. These have included discounts and offers, incentives and promotions, and following some of our most successfully implemented campaigns, these have improved sales by as much as 25%, increasing revenue and helping to strengthen our companies position within the marketplace.
• With my strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and confident approach, throughout my career I have successfully managed to build strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring smooth and continuous collaboration at all upper management levels.
