My name is Captain (Ret.) Tom Ryan, and I am writing to you with a view to applying for any positions you may have within your company for a highly skilled serviceman recently back in the workplace after a brief semi-retirement.
I have recently completed a 10-year stint in the Royal Air Force where I served as an aircraft engineering instructor.
I would be very interested in any positions you have vacant within your organisation for training staff. Not only is my technical knowledge first-rate, but as an instructor with countless years of experience, I’m completely adept at teaching training material to new inductees such as Line and Base Aircraft engineering, CAA maintenance procedures, and CAA Part 66 Procedures, to name but a few. I am energic, organised, and disciplined, and have a solid educational background in engineering with an Aircraft Engineering BEng(Hons) degree from London’s Kingston university, as well as a background befitting a trainer with my years of experience to match. I can know how to adeptly handle and facilitate a learning environment that is fun and informative like it’s second nature.
